'Sun & Moon' tab
The 'Sun & Moon' tab provides you with sun rise/set and moon rise/set times. A graphic display of
the moon phase is also displayed. You may view sun and moon information for any date or location.
You can also use the play, fast forward, and stop buttons to view an animation of the 'Sun & Moon' tab.
Press MENU to change the orientation of the skyview on the 'Sun & Moon' tab to Track Up or North Up.
To display the Sun & Moon information:
1. Press

twice to open the Main Menu.
2. Highlight 'Celestial' from the vertical list of tabs using the
3. Use the Arrow Keypad to display the 'Sun & Moon' tab.
To view Sun & Moon information for a different date:
1. Use the
to highlight the 'Date' fi eld and press

to change the digits of the date to the desired date. You can also use the

keys to jump to another date. Press and hold IN or OUT to quickly scroll the date.

when fi nished. The unit displays the chart for the date you entered or selected.
To use the current date again, highlight the 'Date' fi eld. Press MENU , highlight 'Use Current Date',
and press ENTER/MARK .
To view Sun & Moon information for a different location:
1. Use the
to highlight the 'From' fi eld and press
ARROW KEYPAD
2. Highlight 'Use Find Menu' and press
3. Select a waypoint or point of interest and press
4. On the waypoint/point information page, press
information for the location you selected.
To use the current location, highlight the 'From' fi eld. Press ENTER/MARK , highlight 'Current Loca-
tion', and press ENTER/MARK .
