Cleaning the Shuttle Race and Feed Dogs
Unplug the machine and remove the presser foot and needle.
Remove the screw on the left side of the needle p!ate with a
screwdriver Remove the needle plate (D and take out the
bobbin,

Lift up the bobbin holder (_) and remove it.

Brush out dust and lint inside the bobbin holder. Clean the
feed dogs Q and hook race (_ with a lint brush Wipe out
gently with a soft, dry cloth..

Line up the tdangle marks (_ and position the bobbin holder
so that the notch fits next to the stopper (_ in the hook race.

Oiling the Machine
Open the face cover and oil the two points as shown at least
once a year. One or two drops of oil is sufficient. Remove
excess oil, otherwise it may stain fabrics. In case the ma-
chine is not used for an extended period, oil it before sew-
ing Use quality sewing machine oil
