SNMP
❖ Community Name
Enter the name of the community to which the network interface board be-
longs. You can use up to 15 alphanumeric characters. Only requests from
hosts whose community name matches the name you set here will be accept-
ed.
❖ Manager IP Address
Enter the host computer's IP address.
To accept requests from any host, set the address to "0.0.0.0".
❖ Manager IPX Address
Enter the host computer's IPX address. The IPX address consists of the net-
work number and the physical address. Enter the network number to which
the host is connected and the MAC address of the host's network interface
board, separated by a colon (:).
To accept requests from any host, set the MAC address to "00:00:00:00:00:00".

❖ Printer Name
Enter the name of the printer to be displayed on Chooser, using up to 32 al-
phanumeric characters. You cannot use symbols such as "*", ":", "=", and "@",
and characters equivalent to ASCII "0xc5".
The name of the printer displayed on the active Macintosh Chooser appears
in parentheses. Normally, this is the name specified under the [Selected Printer
Name] box, but if multiple machines of the same name are configured, it may
be another name.
Printer Name is not displayed if the PostScript Unit is not installed.
❖ Zone Name
Enter the name of the zone to which the interface board belongs. To specify
the default zone, enter "*". You can use up to 32 alphanumeric characters.
The name of the zone that the active interface board currently belongs to ap-
pears in parentheses.
❖ Type Name
Displays the printer type.
