Unable to print in colour

Possible Cause
Is Black/White selected as the
output colour on the printer
driver?
The settings specified in the
application software may take
precedence over the settings on
the printer driver.
Is Color selected as the output
colour when printing black and
white documents?
Is the timeout period for the
printer to enter into power saver
mode too short?
Is the printer placed on a level
platfrom?
Is the paper tray open?
Are there scraps of paper or
other objects in the printer?
Solution
Check under the Graphics tab on the
printer driver (for Windows) or the
General Settings dialog box (for
Macintosh), and make sure that the
correct setting is selected.

If the printer received a print job while
it is in power saver mode, it takes some
time for it to warm up and print. You
can set a longer timeout to prevent the
printer from entering into power save
mode too quickly.
