N-up
This the feature that allows you to print multiple
pages on one sheet of paper. DocuPrint C621 allows
you to print using the 2-Up, 4-Up, 8-Up, or 16-UP
feature.
Online/Offline
When the printer is ready to receive data, it is
"online", if not, it is "offline". The machine has to be
online before copying or printing from applications
can be done. However the machine must be offline
in order to use the printer control panel to select or
change settings. You can toggle between online and
offline by pressing the Online button on the printer
control panel.

Online help

This is electronic information shown on the
computer screen.
OS
This is the acronym for Operating System that
controls the basic operations of a computer's
hardware and software. It also manages the
software and serves as the platform on which
software applications run.

This is one of the data transmission modes between

This function is adopted in Windows 95 and
Windows 98 where it allows the computer to
configure itself to work with peripheral equipment.

Print Queue

When data are received from the computer to be
printed to a designated printer, these data are stored
temporarily in the print queue.

Printer Driver

This is the software for converting data created with
an application to data that can be interpreted by the
printer.
Port
This is the connection part for exchanges between
the computer and peripherals.
Protocol
This is a set of rules for regulating the
communications amongst multiple devices and
computer systems, for example, the transmission of
information between hardware, the communications
between two computers via the network and so
forth.
