Function
The power module con-
verts the 24 V input power
into the internal operating
voltage of the basic de-
vice.
There are eight digital in-
puts for feeding in exter-
nal signals.
The Switch CPU man-
ages the data traffic. The
CPU also has a serial and
an Ethernet port.
Expands the basic device
by two gigabit fiber-optic
ports.
Expands the basic device
by two fast Ethernet fiber-
optic ports.
Expands the basic device
by eight fast Ethernet
ports with RJ-45 jacks.
Expands the basic device
by four slots for fast
Ethernet media modules.
