Ring Ports in Slots 5 to 7
If R1 and R2 are set to OFF , the two gigabit ports of slot 5 are selected as ring
ports.
Note
If the SCALANCE X414-3E is operated without media modules, R1 and R2 must
be set to OFF , otherwise ports in slots 6 and 7 will be defined as ring ports that are
only available when media modules are plugged in.
