CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1.
Turn temperature control to the OFF (O) position.
2.
Remove pans, insets and adapter tops (if used).
3.
Allow unit to cool completely.
4.
Unplug warmer (counter top units) or turn off power at installed disconnect (built-in units).
5.
Remove water from warmer well (if used for wet operation).
6.
Wipe entire unit using a clean cloth or sponge dampened with a mild detergent solution.
WARNING!
Do not submerge counter top appliances in water.
Do not splash or pour water onto control panels or wiring. This appliance is not jet stream
approved. Do not clean with water jet.
Possible shock hazard and/or equipment damage if interior of unit becomes wet.
7.
Use a plastic scouring pad to remove baked-on food particles.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use steel wool for cleaning.
8.
Rinse warmer thoroughly with a water and vinegar solution to neutralize any residue from the
cleaner/detergent .
IMPORTANT!
Do not use strong/caustic cleansers on warmers. Do not allow ammonia to stand in
warmer. Make sure to rinse thoroughly to remove all residue. Failure to do so may cause
corrosion damage to unit.
9.
If water used to fill warmer has a high mineral content, the warmer may develop lime deposits.
Use a de-liming agent to remove lime deposits. It is important to use the de-liming agent often
so that lime deposits do not build-up.
RECOMMENDATION:
If water has a high mineral content, a cartridge-type filtration device can be used to minimize
lime build-up.
