Install the GIPH or GIPU8 IP Interface PCB (optional)
When the GIPH1 or GIPU8 or an MIPU card is installed, a GCOCIH1 (four circuit CO Line
interface) cannot be installed. For MIPU installation refer to
Interface PCB (optional)" on page
1. Turn off system power.
2. In the CIX40 cabinet, remove the two screws and the PCB stopper
3. If the GCTU2 is installed remove it.
4. Install the GIPH, GIPU8, or MIPU into the GMAS (sub-motherboard) (see

Licenses are required for IP Telephone and Strata Net IP. Use eManager R5.00-A12, or later, to
apply the necessary licenses to the GCTU2 for GIPH, GIPU8, or MIPU operations.
