Voicemail common parameters

All extensions can be allocated voice boxes. The 20 Ring groups can also be allocated Voice
Boxes. A further 10 Mailboxes, not associated with extensions or Groups, can also be
Programmed. These are called Phantom Mailboxes and can be used for people who have
not got a dedicated extension. All voice boxes can be programmed as 'Information Only'.
This means that they will answer the call and replay the greeting but not allow the caller to
record a message. A personalised greeting must be recorded if 'Information Only' mailboxes
are used.
The maximum number of messages that can be stored in a Mailbox is 20 at power up. This
number is programmable from 10 to 50 messages.
The maximum message and Greeting length is programmable between 60-300 seconds. The
time allocated at Power Up is 60 seconds.
Un-retrieved messages are deleted in 15 days and retrieved messages are deleted in 3 days.
An extension must be allocated a Voicemail box before it can use Voicemail. In default,
extensions are not allocated a Voicemail box.
