Images can be magnified up to 16 times in Playback mode.

Turn the e-dial to the right
(toward O.).
The image enlarges at each click (1.2
times to 16 times).

Moves the area to enlarge.
Enlarges image (up to 16 times).
Reduces image (up to 1.2 times*).
Returns to the original size.
Switches information display On/Off.
* The default setting for the first click (minimum magnification) is 1.2 times. You can
change this in [Playback Display Method] of the [l_q Playback 1] menu. (p.203)
• You Can enlarge the image by following the same procedure during instant
Review (p.63), Digita! Preview (p.!27) 0r Live View (p,147).
• The initial full display of vertical images is displayed with a magnification of
0.75 times that of horizonta! images, therefore, magnification at the first click
starts at 1:0 times.
