The shutter can be released from a distance
by using the optional remote
control unit. You can select from the following
two settings for remote
control shooting.
The shutter
will be released
immediately
after the shutter

Mount the camera onto a tripod.

Press the four-way
controller
(•)
in Capture mode.
The [Drive Mode]screen appears.
Use the four-way
controller (_1 •) to select

Press the fou r-way controller (•)
and use the four-way
controller
(_1 • ) to select
i or i3s.
The self-timer lamp will blink to let you
knowthat the camera is inremote control
stand-by status.
Press the
OK
button.
The camera is ready to take a picture.
