You can rotate t he image d isplayed 90 °counterclockwise atatime and
save the rotated image. The image r otation information issaved with the
image a nd during p layback itwill b edisplayed inportrait orientation.
• When [18. Saving Rotation Info] inthe [CCustom Setting 3]menu (p.82) is
set to[Oft], the image rotation information isnot saved when shooting.
• When [19. Auto I mage Rotation] inthe [CCustom Setting 3]menu (p.82) is
set to[Qn], the image isautomaticahy rotated during playback according to
the image rotation information
You c annot change the image rotation information inthe following conditions.
- When the image isprotected
- When the image rotation information isnot saved with t he image
- When [19. Auto I mage Rotation] inthe [CCustom Setting 3]menu (p.82) is
set to[Oft]
1 Select the image you want to rotate in Playback mode.
2 Press the four-way controller (v).
The playback mode palette appears.

Use the four-way controller (A • 4 I_) to select <_ (Image
Rotation) and press the OK button.
The selected image is rotated in 90 ° increments and the four thumbnail
images are displayed.
Use the four-way controller
(A • 4 I_)to select the rotation
direction and press the OK
button.
The image rotation information is saved.
