THE mNFORMATmONMODE/DEMO MODE
THE OPTmONAL CHEST PULSE SENSOR
The consob features an information mode that keeps
track of the totaUnumber of miles that the waUking beUt
has moved and the totaUnumber of hours that the in-
dine trainer has been operated, The information mode
aUsoallows you to switch the consob from miles to
kilometers, in addition, the information mode allows
you to turn on and turn off the demo mode,
To sebct the information mode, hoUddown the Stop
button while inserting the key into the consob, When
the information mode is sebcted, the following informa-
tion will be shown:
The Indine/Ebvation
display
will show the total number of
miles or kilometers that the
walking belt has moved,
An optional chest pulse sensor adds even more
features to the console, The chest pulse sensor provides
hands-free operation and enables you to use the con-
sob's heart rate programs, To purchase

The Time/Distance display

An "E" for English miles or
an "M" for metric kilometers

Speed + button to change
the unit of measurement,
IMPORTANT:
The Fat Calories/Calories/Pulse
dis-
play should be blank, if a "d" appears in the display,
the console is in the "demo" mode, This mode is in-
tended to be used only when an incline trainer is dis-
played in a store, When the console is in the demo
mode, the power cord can be plugged in, the key can
be removed from the console, and the displays and in-
dicators on the console will automatically light in a pre-
set sequence; the buttons on the console cannot be op-
erated, ff a "d" appears in the display when the infor-
mation mode is seJected, press the Speed - button
so the disptay is blank.
To exit the information mode, remove the key,
