Put the Cable Box/DBS on the same channelastheVCR's
CH31CH4 switch.Then,with the VCR inVCR position (theVCR
light will appearon the displaypanel),use the CH(annel) A/Y
but-
tons to select the channelyou want to record at theVCR. Start
the recording.

PresstheVCRFIW button once to put theVCR in TV position.
(TheVCR light will disappear.)

Set theTV to the Cable BOx/DBS output channel(03 or 04).

Selectthe channelyou want to watch at the Cable BOx/DBS.
When youplay a tape,make sure
the CableBoxIDBSisset to the
samechanne/as the CH3/CH4
