Automatic Playback
When you put a tape in the VCR, the power will come on auto-
matically.If the tape's record tab is missing,playback will begin.
Automatic Rewind
When a tape is played, f ast forwarded, or recorded to its end,the
VCR will rewind the tape to the beginning, then stop.
Memory Rewind, Power Off
VVhen the POWER button is pressedwhile theVCR is rewinding a
tape, REWIND-->POWER OFF will appearon-screen.When the
tape hasfinishedrewinding, the VCR will stop,then turn itself off.
Tape Eject
"Atape can be ejected with theVCR power on or off (but theVCR
must be plugged in).
If a timer recording is programmed,the C_)and Cassette-Inside
lightswill flashon theVCR's displaypanelwhen you eject a tape
with theVCR power turned off.
Counter Reset
The counter will automatically be reset to 0.'_:00 as you insert a
cassette.
To reset the counter to 0:00:00 at anytime, press the CLEAR but-
ton on the remote control.
Automatic Tracking Adjustment
TheVCR continuallyadjuststrackingto give you the best possible
picture quality.With some recordings, however, y ou may get a bet-
ter picture by adjusting the tracking manually (see below).
Manual Tracking Adjustment
• Pressthe CHANNELA,/V buttons on the VCR to removejitter in a
stillpicture,
• Youcanreturn toAutombticTracldngAdjustment bypressingthe
CHANNELA/V buttons on the VCR at the same time.
• The CHANNELA,/V buttons on the VCR alsoadjust tracking dur-
ingnormaltapeplayback.
• TheVCRreturns toAutomatic Tracking Adjustment whenever a tapeis
inserted.
