36 Quick Programming
Followthe stepsbelow to programyourVCR to recordTV pro-
gramswhile you're away from home.TheVCR will turn itselfon,
record, and turn itself off automatically.
Beforeyou begin make sure:
• Channelsare programmed.Detailsare on pagesI I - 12.

• The clock is set Detai/sore onpages 13- 17.

• There is a tape in theVCR. Make sure the tape's record tab is
intact and the tape is long enoughto record the program(s).
• TheVCR is inVCR position.TheVCR lightwill appearon the dis-
playpanelwhen theVCR is inVCR position.If theVCR light
does not appear, p resstheVCR/TV huron once.
• When you usea Cable BoyJDBS, timer recordings are pro-
grammed differently, R ead pages 8 - 9 before proceeding.
• Complete each step within 60 secondsof the previousstep.

recording.
