Quasi Playback(SQPB),allowingyou to playS-VHS recordings with regularVHS
resolution.However,you may not record on S-VHS tapes with thisVCR.
This product hasa 19 micron head which providesa better picture when you
view tapes recorded in slow speed (SLP).
Philips Consumer ElectronicsCompany recommends that you use onlyvideo
cassettetapes that havebeen tested and inspectedfor use in two, four, six,and
eight hourVCRs, and which are labelledwith the _ mark.The use of tapes
that havenot been inspectedfor use in two, four,six,and eighthourVCRs may
result in poor picture qualityand excessivedepositson the video heads,which
may not be coveredby the warranty if damageoccurs.
Note to the CableTV System Installer:This reminder is provided to call the
Cable TV system installers attention to Article 820-40 of the National Electrical
Code, which provides guidelines for proper grounding - in particular, specifying
that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the build-
ing, as close to the point of cable entry as possible.
