Letthe ovencool beforecleaning.
Werecommendthat you wear rubbergloves
whencleaningthe oven.
Soapand water will normallydo thejob. Heavy
spatteringor spillovers may requirecleaning
with a mild abrasive cleaner. S oap-filled
scouringpadsmay alsobe used.
Donot allowfood spills with a highsugaror
acidcontent(suchastomatoes,sauerkraut,
fruitjuicesor piefilling)to remainon the surface.
Theymay causea dull spot evenafter cleaning.
Household ammoniamay makethe cleaning
job easier. P lace1/2cup in a shallowglassor
potterycontainerin a coldovenovernight.
Theammoniafumeswill helploosen
the burned-ongreaseand food.
If necessary, you may usean ovencleaner.

Donot sprayovencleaneron the electrical
controlsand switchesbecause it couldcause
a short circuitand resultin sparking or fire.
Donot allowa film from the cleanerto build

the sensorcleanafter eachovencleaning,
beingcarefulnotto movethe sensor as
a changein its positioncouldaffect how
the ovenbakes.

NOTE:For models with an electric
warming drawer or lower oven drawer,
before performing any adjustments,
cleaning or service, disconnect the
range electrical power supply at the
household distribution panel by
removing the fuse or switching off the
circuit breaker. Make sure the drawer
heating element is cool.
Thedrawerhasa removable pan for easy
cleaning. C leanwith hot, soapywater and a
spongeor dishtowel.Drywith a cleancloth.
Replace the pan in the lowerovendrawer.
Neverplace,useor self-clean the loweroven
drawerpan in the upperoven(onsome
models).
NOTE:Allowdrawerto coolbeforeremoving
pan.
