Quick Setup
• Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the infrared beam between the remote
control and the IR receiver on the DHD Controller.
• If the effective range of the remote control decreases, or it stops working, replace the
batteries with new ones.
• The remote control may fail to operate if the infrared remote sensor is exposed to bright
sunlight or fluorescent lighting.
• Ambient conditions may possibly impede the operation of the remote control. If this
happens, point the remote control at the DHD Controller, and repeat the operation.
Table 3-1 gives a quick overview of the D-113d installation process. The sections
following this one provide detailed instructions.

Install CineWide with AutoScope lens motor on top projection unit

Install CineWide with AutoScope lens motor on bottom projection

Attach spacer legs to bottom of top projection unit

Attach top projection unit to bottom projection unit

Place the projector in the installation location

Install primary projection lenses

Mount the Primary DHD Controller, Secondary DHD Controller

and 3Dimension Processor
Connect the Primary and Secondary DHD Controllers to the

projector
Connect the 3Dimension Processor to the Primary and

Secondary DHD Controllers
Connect other external equipment to Primary DHD Controller
(optional):
• Audio processor or secondary display device
• Control system interface (RS-232)

• 12-volt trigger-activated equipment (retractable screens or
screen masking)
• External IR repeater
• Network hub, router or gateway (Ethernet)
Connect signal sources to the 3Dimension Processor

Connect system components to AC power

Apply power to the projector

Adjust primary lens: projected image size (zoom), position (shift)

and focus; copy and paste settings as needed
