MAINTENANCE LUBRICATE AUGERGEARBOX Theaugergearboxis lubricated atthefactory and shouldnotrequire additional l ubrication, If for somereason thelubricant shouldleakout, or if theaugergearboxhasbeenserviced, a dd Lubriplate GR132 Grease or equivalent. Maximum 3-1/4 ounces, ( 92 grams)shouldbeused. Remove filler plug (A,Figure14),oncea year.If grease is visible,do not add.If grease is notvisible,usea pieceoffinewire, likea dipstickto check if thereis greasein thegearbox.MobiluxEP1 and ShellAlvaniaEP1 are suitableequivalents. -

MAINTENANCE ENGINE MAINTENANCE Check Crankcase Oil Level - Beforestartingengine andaftereach8 hoursof continuous use.Add therecommended m otoroil as required. NOTE:Over filling the engine can affect performance.Tighten Full the oil fill cap securely to prevent leakage. Change Oil - Every 50 hoursof operation or at leastoncea year,evenif thesnowthroweris notusedfor fifty hours.Usea clean,highquality detergent o il. -

MAINTENANCE CHANGE THESPARKPLUG Remove the Snow Hood 1. Remove thechokecontrolknob(A,Figure19). 2. Remove thesafety key(B). 3. Remove themounting screws (A, Figure20). 4. Slowlyremove thesnowhood(B) Make surethat theprimerbutton hose(C)andtheignitionwire(D)arenotdisconnected. 5. Thesparkplug (E)cannowbe accessed. 6. Toinstallthesnowhood,first make surethattheprimerbuttonhose andtheignitionwireareconnected. 7. Mountthesnowhoodto theengine andsecure with themounting screws. -
