using machine mounts, shown in Figure 14, gives
the advantage of fast leveling and vibration reduc-
tion. the large size of the foot pads distributes
the weight of the machine to reduce strain on the
floor.

power equipment rated
for at least 1500 lbs. to
move the shipping crate
and remove the machine
from the crate.
Moving & placing Jointer
1.
review the power Supply section beginning
on page 9 and Mounting to Shop Floor on
page 15, then prepare the permanent loca-
tion for your jointer.
2.
remove the top and sides of the shipping
crate, then place the small items aside in a
safe location.
3.
remove the four pre-installed cap screws
from the back of the jointer, then, with assis-
tance, secure the pedestal to the jointer with
these cap screws, as shown in Figure 15.
