The
"Color
bias"
function
is used to help your TV reproduce
colors,
especially
skin tones, as realistically
as poss,ible. You can set this
function
to "Average,"
"Accurate,"
or "Skin tone."
• The "Average"
setting
will adjust
the skin tones based
on the
other colors on the screen.
• The "Accurate"
setting
does not make adjustments
to the
picture.
Use this setting
when watching
professionally
produced
video tapes
and laserdiscs
(such as rental
movies).
• The "Skin-tone"
setting
will add warmth
and red tone_,_to the
picture.
The "_"
function
is used to control the closed caption
decoder.

adjusting
the video
functions
When adjusting
the video
functions,
you can use the buttons
on the remote control
or on the
control pane:..
Press the VIDEO button
repeatedly
until the function
you want to adjust
appears
on-screen.
(The fu;actions
appear
at the
center
of _;he bottom
of the
screen.)
While the function
is still on the
screen, u_,lethe ADJUST
button_, to adjust
the function's
setting.
The functions
will disappear
from the ;_creen after a few
second,;. {You cannot
adjust
a
functio:n if it is not on the
screen. )

The video functions
are not available
whet. you are using the PIP
functions.
C>Important:
If you subscribe
to StarSight,
you can only u,_e the "left!right"
buttons
on the remote control
to adjust
thc, video functions.
You
cannot use the up/down
buttons
on the remo_e control
or the
buttons
on the control panel.
