Usethe numeric buttons to selectthe desired
item.
• To select a number
between
1 and 10:
Press the corresponding
button for the number.
• To select a number
higher than 10:
Use the +10 button.
Examples:
To select 13:
+10-_ 3
To select 34:
+10 -_ +10 -_ +10 -_ 4
To select 40:
+10 -_ +10 -_ +10 -_ 10
The unit starts playback of the selected item.
You can return to the menu by pressing the
RETURN button.
When something
like "NEXT"
or "PREVIOUS"
appears on the TV screen, the unit generally
works
as follows:
• Pressing I_1_1 advances to the next page.
• Pressing 14_ returns to the previous
page.
* The method
of the operation
is different
depending
on the disc.
• If you want to playback a PBC-compatible SVCD/Video CD
disc without activating the PBCfunction, start playback by
using the numeric buttons instead of I_ (see page 25).
• To activate the PBCfunction when a PBC-compatible SVCD/
Video CD disc is being played back without the PBC
function, carry out any of the followings:
* Press TOP MENU or MENU.
* Press • to stop playback, then press I_.

group to be played.
• To select a number
between
1 and 10:
Press the corresponding
button for the number.
• To select a number
higher than 10:
Use the +10 button.
Examples:
To select 13:
+10-_ 3
To select 34:

To select 40:
+10 -_ +10 -_ +10 -_ 10
The unit starts playback from the specified
title or
group.
NOTE
• Some DVD AUDIO/DVD VIDEO discsmay not accept
this function because of disc contents.
Available
:
You can play a disc from the desired
position
by
specifying
the elapsed time from the beginning
of the
current group (for DVD AUDIO), the current title (for DVD
VIDEO) or the disc (for SVCD/Video
CD/Audio
CD) using
the time search function.
Note that some DVD VIDEO discs do not contain time
information,
and the time search function
cannot be
used.
Available
:
While playing
back a DVD AUDIO/DVD
VIDEO disc with
more than one title or one group, you can specify a
desired title or group to be played using the numeric
buttons.
