Dual Surface Unit Control Knob
Therightfrontsurfaceunithas2 cooking sizesto
selectfromsoyoucanmatchthesizeof theunit
to thesizeof thecookware youare using.
To use the small (6-inch) surface unit,
turn the control knob to the SMALL
settings.
To use the large (9-inch) surface unit,
turn the control knob to the lARGE
settings.
Never cook directly on the glass.
Always use cookware.
Always place the pan in the center of
the surface unit you are cooking on.
About the radiant surface units...
The radiant cooktop teatures heating
units beneath a smooth glass surface.
NOTE: A slightodoris normalwhena new
cooktopisusedforthe firsttime.It is caused by
theheating of newpartsandinsulating materials
and will disappear i n a shorttime.
NOTE:Onmodelswith light-colored g lass
cooktops, it is normal f orthe cooking zones to
change colorwhenhotor coolingdown.This is
temporary a nd will disappear as theglasscools
toroomtemperature.
The surface unit will cycle on and off to
maintain your selected control setting.
It is safe to place hot cookware on the
glass surface even when the cooktop
is cool.
Even _ter the surface units are turned
off, the glass cooktop retains enough
heat to continue cooking. To avoid
overcooking, remove pans from the
surface units when the tbod is cooked.
Avoid placing anything on the surface
unit until it has cooled completely.

glass cooktop from getting too hot.
