ALWAYS
keep h ands and feet a way f rom all
rotating parts during operation.
Rotating
parts
can cut o ffbody p arts.
ALWAYS
keep b ody a nd hands away f rom
pin holes ornozzles which e ject hydraulic
fluid under pressure.
DO NOT t ouch p arts which a re hot. Allow
parts tocool.
ALWAYS
keep h ands and feet a way f rom all
pinch p oints.
Fumes from the engine exhaust can cause
death orserious injury. DO NOT r un engine in
anenclosed
area. Always provide good
ventilation.

Steering
control levers
must beinneutral, PTO disengaged

parking brake set w hen s tarting engine.
Use care w hen a pproaching

shrubs, trees o rother objects that m ay
obscure vision.
Dust, smoke, fog, e tc. c an reduce vision and
cause anaccident.
Mow only i ndaylight or
good a rtificial light.
Avoid slippery surfaces.
Always be sure of
your footing.
DO NOT m ow on wet g rass. Reduced
traction could c ause sliding and effect the
machine's
stability.
Watch for t raffic when o perating
near or
crossing
roadways.
Never carry p assengers.
DO NOT t rytostabilize the machine
by
putting your foot o nthe ground.
Never direct discharge
towards persons
or
property that m ay b einjured ordamaged
by
thrown objects. Use extreme caution on
gravel surfaces.
Always stand clear ofthe discharge
area.
ALWAYS
disengage
PTO, stop unit a nd
engine, remove key, engage parking brake
and allow moving parts tostop b efore leaving
operator's
position.
Never engage PTO while r aising attachment
orwhen a ttachment
isinraised position.
DO NOT o perate attoo fast a rate. DO NOT
change engine governor
settings orover-
speed engine. Slow down b efore turning.
DO NOT o perate inreverse unless absolutely
necessary.
ALWAYS
look d own a nd behind
before and while b acking.
Stop a nd inspect equipment
ifyou strike a n
object orifthere i sanunusual vibration.
Repair, ifnecessary,
before restarting.
Never
make a djustments
orrepairs with the engine
running.
Mower blades are sharp and can cut y ou.
Wrap t he blade(s) orwear gloves, and use
extra c aution when s ervicing
them. NEVER
weld o rstraighten
mower blades.
Rotation
ofone blade may cause rotation of
the other blades.
Take a llpossible
precautions
when l eaving
unit u nattended.
Shut off e ngine. Remove
wire from spark plug a nd secure itaway from
spark plug.
ALWAYS
remove key toprevent unauthorized
use.
Know the weight of loads. Limit loads to those
you can safely control and the unit can safely
handle.
