You can record sound with the Caplio G3.
Recorded sound is stored as a WAV file.
About where to record
When an SD Memory Card is not inserted, the camera records sounds in the internal memory; when an SD
Memory Card is inserted, it records sounds on the SD Memory Card.
When no memory card is loaded
To record sound, follow the steps below.

When an SD Memory Card is loaded
Turn the Mode Dial to 2 (Voice Mode).
Press the shutter button.
Voice recording starts.
Half-press the shutter button to stop
recording.
