7. As previously described, remove any jammed or partially-fed
sheets of paper or other media from the cassette tray or the
MP tray.
8. Replace the cassette tray or MP tray media before continuing
with the print job.
Paper jammed in the vertical unit of the duplex unit
If paper jams in the vertical unit of the duplex unit, the display
shows Jam in Duplex Cover.
1. Unfasten the catch of the duplex unit's vertical unit and tilt it
back so that you can access the interior of the duplex unit.
2. Look for a sheet of paper protruding from the rubber rollers
in the duplex unit.
Warning:

A high temperature caution label is affixed to the paper path.
It is hot so exercise caution.
3. Push back on the metal bracket cassette to free the rollers, and
carefully but firmly remove the sheet of paper from the
duplex unit. If the paper tears when you try to remove it, make
sure you remove any pieces remaining in the printer.
