Paper jammed between the Imaging Cartridge and the paper exit
If paper is jammed between the Imaging Cartridge and the paper
exit, the display shows Paper Jam.
1. Open the printer cover and remove the Imaging Cartridge.
2. You should see a sheet of paper sticking out from the fuser
unit.
Warning:

Opening the printer cover exposes the fuser, which is marked
CAUTION HIGH TEMPERATURE. Be careful not to
touch the fuser.
3. Carefully but firmly remove the paper from the fuser and take
it out of the printer. If the paper tears when you remove it,
make sure you remove any pieces remaining in the printer.
4. Reinstall the Imaging Cartridge and close the printer cover.
5. As previously described, remove any jammed or partially-fed
sheets of paper or other media from the cassette tray or the
MP tray.
6. Replace the cassette tray or MP tray media before continuing
with the print job.
