To install DIMMs:

Turn off the computer, disconnect the power cord, and disconnect the
modem cord, if your computer has a modem.

Open the case by following the instructions on page 19, observing the
static electricity precautions on page 17.

Remove the drive cage so that you can access the DIMM sockets. (See
page 26 for instructions on removing the drive cage.)

Pull open the socket clamps on each side of the DIMM socket and lift
the DIMM out of the socket.

Never try to remove a DIMM without releasing the clamps.
You may break the socket, causing serious damage.
