Replacing the parts

■ Air filter ■
The replacement filter (Product No.: ET-RFE12) is optional. To purchase the product, consult your dealer.
■ Replacement of the air filter ■
1) Slide the air filter cover.
■
z Pull and slide the air filter cover in the direction shown by the arrow.
■
z The top part of the air filter appears.
2) Remove the air filter.
■
z Hold the grip of the air filter to pull up.
3) Attach a new air filter.
■
z Insert a new air filter with its tabs facing down.
4) Slide the air filter cover to the original position.
■
z Perform Step 1) in the reverse order.
5) Reset the filter counter.
■
z Turn on the power and perform [Filter counter reset] in the [Setting] menu.
Attention
■
z Make sure to turn off the power before replacing the air filter.
■
z Before attaching a new air filter, be sure to remove the packing material of the air filter.
■
z When attaching the unit, make sure that the projector is stable. Perform the replacement in a safe place where
the projector will not be damaged even if you drop the air filter.
■
z When turning the projector on, make sure that the air filter is installed before using the projector. Failure to do
so may cause damage.
■
z After replacing the air filter, reset the filter counter. Otherwise, the power of the projector may be turned off for
safety.
