Illuminated: low engine oil level. Check oil
level and top up as necessary –
see page 182.

Electric power-assisted steering 3
The control indicator illuminates for a few
seconds when the ignition is switched on.
Illumination whilst driving indicates a fault.
Driving may be continued. More force is
required for steering. Consult a workshop.
We recommend your Vauxhall Authorised
Repairer.

Fuel level 3
Illuminated: low fuel level. Fuel gauge in
reserve area.
Flashing: fuel supply used up, fill tank
immediately.
Never let the tank run dry!
Erratic fuel supply can cause catalytic
converter to overheat – see page 124.
Diesel engines: if the tank is run dry, bleed
the fuel system as described on page 143.
