DMT-8 Ver 2.0 Supplement to the Owner's Manual

1. Program Change function

The Program Change function allows you to select any of five Programs (1-
5) to which the hard disk apace is allotted, so you can record, playback,
eddit, and archives up to five songs individually on a single hard disk (as
long as there is adequate free space on the disk). You can create an
individual song, so that for example the first song is in Program 1, the
second song in Program 2 etc.
To perform recording, playback , edit, and archives, first select a desired
Program.
How to switch a Program
* You can select a Program any time other than when the recorder
section is in REC mode or PLAY mode.
When you turn on the power to the DMT-8, a Program with the
Time Base used before you turned off the power will be selected.
(When you turn on the power to the unit for the first time after
unpacking, the DMT-8 will start with Program 1 with "ABS TIME"
base.) Make sure that the DMT-8 is stopped when you select a
Program.
Here, let's assume that Program 1 with "ABS TIME" display was selected
when you turned on the power to the DMT-8.
1. While the screen shown above is displayed, pressing the STORE key
while holding down the HOLD/> key and repeatedly to switch Programs
from P1 through P5.
The following figure indicates that each Program with a Time Base of
"ABS" is selected.
