DMT-8 Ver 2.0 Supplement to the Owner's Manual
Saving data to DAT (SAVE)
To save a single Program, select the Program. Assume that we have selected
Program 1.
1. Press the DISP SEL key to select "SETUP" and press the EXECUTE/YES
key. (The "SETUP" indicator will light up.)
Turn the JOG dial to select the blinking "SAVE" option, and press the
EXCUTE/YES key.
The display will change as shown below, and the Program number currently-
selected ("P1" in this example) will blink. At this time, you can select whether
you wish to save only this Program, or to save all Programs. Turn the JOG dial
cclockwise to select "ALL" or counter-clocckwise to select "P1".
2. Press the EXECUTE/YES key again.
The display will change to something like this, and the DMT-8 will enter Save
Standby mode.
3. Start recording on the DAT machine, and press the EXECUTE/YES key on
the DMT-8 again.
As soon as the saving operation starts, the display will show the time taken for
the save operation and count down. (The follwing example shows that the saving
operation will take 18 minutes and 58 seconds.)
