BUTTONHOLE SEWING

This machine can sew 12 type buttonholes.
33. Bar-tack Butonhole (Narrow) for light to
medium wetight fabrics
34. Bar-tack Buttonhole (Wide) for large
buttons
35. Keyhole Buttonhole for heavy weight
fabrics
36. Keyhole Buttonhole with reinforced bar
tack

light to medium weight fabrics

large buttons

Buttonhole Foot (F)
1. Mark position and length of buttonhole on
fabric.
2. Set button on the base.
* If button does not fit on the base, adjust
slide on base to diameter of button plus
thickness of button.
a = Length of button + thickness
3. Pass upper thread through the hole of
buttonhole foot and bring upper and
bobbin threads to the left.
4. Position fabric under presser foot so that
the center line mark is in the center of the
buttonhole foot.
Lower the foot.
5. Lower the buttonhole lever completely.
Note: Machine will not start to sew if
buttonhole lever is not lowered properly or
buttonhole foot is not positioned correctly.
6. Hold upper thread lightly and start the
machine.

medianas.

35. Extremo inferior redondo para telas
gruesas

reforzada.
37. Extremo inferior redondo en Punta.
38. Extremo inferior redondo (angosto) para
telas delgadas y medianas.
39. Extremo inferior redondo (ancho) para
botones grandes.
40. Extremo inferior redondo y costura
cruzada.
41. Ambos extremos redondos.
42. Costuras decorativas.
43. Costura elástica.
44. Costura de rombos.
Pata Prensora para Ojales (F)
1. Marque la posición y el largo del ojal en la
tela.
2. Coloque el botón en la base. Si el botón
no entra en la base, regule la corredera
de la base para el diámetro y espesor del
botón.
a = Diámetro del botón + espesor
3. Pase el hilo superior por el orificio de la
pata para ojales y jale el hilo superior y el
de la bobina hacia la izquierda.
4. Coloque la tela debajo de la pata
prensora de modo que la marca de la
línea central quede en el centro de la pata
para ojales.
Baje la pata.
5. Baje completamente la palanca para la
pata prensora de ojales.
Nota: La máquina no comenzará a coser si
la palanca para la pata de ojales no está
completamente abajo, o si no está
posicionada correctamente.
6. Agarre el hilo superior levemente y
arranque la máquina.
