Cleaning the Pick and Feed Rollers

When mis-picks occur, clean the pick and feed rollers, registration rollers A, and
registration rollers B.
Caution: The rollers should be cleaned with a clean, dry, lint-free
cloth to avoid damage.

Cleaning the ADC Sensor

Prints producing the wrong colors can be the result of dirt, debris or toner build up on
the ADC Sensor or Color Chip. Clean both the ADC Sensor and Color Chip (located
on the underside of the Registration Shutter), with a slightly dampened, lint-free,
cloth.

Cleaning the Registration Sensor

Color mis-registration can occur when the registration sensor lenses become
contaminated. Clean the lenses with a lint-free cloth.

Cleaning the Contacts

Multiple print-quality problems can occur when the Imaging Unit or Transfer Unit
Contacts are corroded, have toner build-up, or dirt on them. Clean the contacts with a
soft lint-free cloth or pencil eraser to remove corrosion or build-up.
