Troubleshooting

If you experience any problems when the client boots, such as a blue
screen or the client freezing, please do the following:

Power off the client. Wait for 1 minute. Power on the client
again.

Check the NVDD server messages.

Power Off the client. Open its case and reconnect the original
system boot drive to the IDE or SCSI and power cables, then
boot the client from it.

Open the registry editor and, if they exist, remove the keys (and
subkeys) in:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DSKIMG
(you may need to give full control authorizations to everyone on
key and subkeys to be able to actually remove them)
DSKIMG
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\CriticalDeviceData-
base\diskimage
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\BDRUPD
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DSKIMG
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NeoDomMgr
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NVD

Run the Client Builder. Open the Device Manager and check for
hardware changes. Wait until Client Builder finishes. Shutdown
the client. Exit the
the image file on the server (in the folder where NVDD is
located). Make sure that NVDD configuration file (
by default) is OK for the image. Run
