Windows Product Activation
When changing the hardware of a Windows system that needs to be
activated (Windows XP, Microsoft Office XP, etc.), you may need
to re-activate the product.
It is recommended that you use VLA (Volume License Agreement)
editions of the products. VLA editions do not need to be activated. If
VLA editions are not available, you may have to enter each PC's
own product serial key in order to re-activate. This may also require
that you use the "activation by telephone" feature.

Neoware UbiBoot and Neoware Image Manager can be used in con-
junction with Microsoft SysPrep. In particular, a Windows installa-
tion stored on a virtual drive can be resealed using SysPrep's
"Reseal" feature before it is deployed. This can be useful especially
if your clients will be using Normal mode.
With Neoware UbiBoot, the administrator just lets Windows 2000/
XP/2003 learn to detect and use the hardware. With Microsoft
SysPrep used to build a Windows installation that can boot heteroge-
neous hardware platforms, the administrator needs to take inventory
of all the hardware components and identify and copy the driver files
for all these components.
Neoware UbiBoot builds a single image integrating all drivers.
Microsoft SysPrep does not create a single image containing all
drivers; the driver integration process must be repeated each time
