YOU TALK TO THE REMOTE PARTIES EASILY THROUGH ITS
UNIQUE "VOICE PHONE OVER ISDN" FEATURE, WHICH IS
EXACTLY SAME AS USING NORMAL TELEPHONE SET FOR
VOICE COMMUNICATIONS.
Note: "Voice over ISDN" function can not be concurrently used with
"Modem over ISDN" applications. Only one of the applications is
possible at one time.
1.
Attach the ISDN network connection cable (S/T- or U-interface) to the
ISDN MODEM PC Card's 15-pin connector. And connect the ISDN
phone cord to the ISDN wall outlet directly.

Attach the ISDN Phone kit to the voice interface on the ISDN network
connection cable.

Enter "Configuration Utility". Run "Config". Open "Switch Type", and
select appropriate "Voice Encoding" setting. If you do not know which
parameter is better for you, try either one.

Enter "Tools" in configuration utility. Click "Phone Dialer" to make
voice calls.

Enter the remote party phone number by pressing the number key pad on
the screen, or type the phone number directly in the blank space of
"Number to Dial", then press "Dial" button to dial out the phone
number. Give the extension number and press "Dial Ext" button if the
remote party is an auto-attending switch-board. Press "Disc" to terminate
the voice session.
To answer the incoming voice calls over ISDN line, select "Answered by
Phone Dialer" in "Incoming Call Answering" in "General" tab. Otherwise
(when "Answered by Modem" is selected), the incoming calls will be treated
as modem data calls, and they will be automatically answered by the built-in
modem. When ringing signals are "heard", the "telephone icon" in "Phone
Dialer" will be vibrating, press "Answer" to pick-up the incoming voice calls.
Press "Disc" to terminate the voice session.
