Condensation
When room temperature rises rapidly (or the Display Panel unit is moved from a cold place to a hot place),
condensation may form on the lens, causing picture distortion or color fade-out. In such case, wait for a
while (with keeping power ON) until the condensation clears.
About LCD and lamps
The fluorescent lamps in the projection unit and also LCD panel should be considered a consumable
items and need to be replaced after about 50,000H (about 4 years of use) or when brightness and contrast
are reduced and other symptoms of breakdown are apparent for the monitor. Should Lamp have longer life
around 60,000H (brightness/contrast may be halved, slow response speed), replacement of the back-light
lamp must be performed at factory. LCD panel + lamp assembly are replaced together.
Contact your dealer for the replacement work.
Maintenance
Do not use solvent or paint thinner, if these are used, coating layer may peel off or deteriorate. If rubber or
plastic comes into contact with the display unit for a long time, the projection unit may be stained.
Care of the screen
After switching the power supply off, gently wipe the screen with a soft cotton cloth. Since the screen surface
is easily scratched, this may also build up an electrostatic charge. Do not rub it with a hard object; the
screen may be easily damaged. Never use a chemical duster or solvent, surface plastic is easily damaged.
Care of the cabinet
After switching the power supply off, wipe gently with soft cloth. When using a chemical duster, follow
the maker's precautions.
Care of the air circulation
The air intake holes should be regarded as necessary cleaning areas. Clogging the holes to suspend air
circulation may cause internal temperature rise and LCD panel, circuit boards and parts life to become
shorter or cause fire to occur.
Periodic cleaning of entire equipment is necessary at least once in a year.
Always turn off the power when start to do cleanings.

Input capability
From PC video output card a VGA to UXGA signal is generated.
follow the VESA standard and all incoming frequencies are converted to HDTV resolution inside the
Panel. For example, a Video/PC signal with SXGA resolution of 1280x1024 has an aspect ration of
5:4. This is changed to the panel aspect ratio of 16:9 (or 5:4 with surrounding black area ) so that
the picture may have different shape in any resolutions.

Incoming PC signal timing should
