RNID frame type field from the host is corrupted internally when the
host is connected over FCIP, and is rejected by the switch. This results
in the switch being unable to get FICON CHPID online to VSM (Virtual
Tape Subsystem) over an emulated or non-emulated VE tunnel. The
E_Port between switches functions correctly.
Some CNAs expect Unsolicited FIP Discovery Advertisements from the
FCoE switch even when the D bit is set. Because the 2408 switch and
10/24 blade do not provide that information, they may log out of the
switch after several seconds.
After upgrade to Fabric OS 6.2.x, the 400 MP router, or multiprotocol
router blade observes a credit problem on virtual channel 0, leading
to frame drop on FCIP and FC FastWrite, and the host being unable to
see the target.
Pending rekey sessions are not persisted when the EE hosting node fails
over. If HA Cluster failover occurs before keys are successfully created
for all LUNs under rekey, the customer will have to restart the rekey in-
dividually for those LUNs for which the rekey sessions could not be
automatically started.
When all EEs in an EG are zeroized and a restore Master Key is attemp-
ted from recovery smart cards, the EE is not put online.
