Note: Always remove any staples or paper clips from documents
before inserting them into the scanner. Staples and paper clips can jam
the feed mechanism and scratch the internal components. Do not scan
any document with wet correction fluid, labels, stickers or Post-It™
notes on the pages. The correction fluid or glue from the stickers can
leave residue on the lens that is difficult to clean. If a label, sticker or
Post-It note comes off during the scanning process, the item can get
stuck in the scanner. Misuse as described here will void your scanner's
warranty.
The Strobe XP 300 scanner is a duplex scanner, this means that it can
scan both sides of the page at the same time.
To scan a single side of the page, insert the page face down.
To scan both sides of the page, either side can be face down because
both sides are scanned.

Your scanner has Paper Guides on the Page Feed. Adjust them to the
width of the item you are scanning to minimize page skewing as the
page is pulled through the scanner.
To adjust the Paper Guides slide them toward each other until they
match the width of the item you're scanning.
