LDAP Setting
Configure settings to enable the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server on the network.
Configure LDAP Setting in the Administrator Settings screen under Utility.
This section describes how to configure the following functions.

Before starting LDAP Setting, contact your network administrator for confirmation of necessary infor-
mation.

If you have entered an incorrect character during the configuration process, press the Clear/Stop key
to erase the incorrectly entered character and re-enter.

Setting the LDAP server address

On the Control Panel, press the Utility key.

Press +, to select [ADMIN. MANAGEMENT], then press OK.

Enter the administrator number, then enter OK.
% The factory default is [000000].

Press +, to select [LDAP SETTING], then press OK.

Press +, to select [LDAP SERVER ADDR.], then press OK.

Enter the IP address or host name of the LDAP server.
% You can enter up to 64 characters for the host name.
% To specify the LDAP server by the host name, DNS configuration must be completed.

Press OK.
% [ACCEPTED] appears, and the screen returns to the LDAP Setting screen.
