Setting Email Alerts

You can choose to send an email Alert when a Job is completed and when it fails. To do this, open the Jobs
Queue page, and click Add in the Alerts column for the Job that you want to set an alert for. You then can create
an email message on the Job Alerts page.
Tip •
You can choose to send a Job alert upon both Job failure and Job success.
When composing the Subject line and the Message, you can also insert
Manager to automatically insert the variable data regarding that Job at runtime.
Task:
To set email alerts:
1.
On the Jobs Queue page, click Add in the Alerts column for the Job that you want to set an alert for. The
Job Alerts page opens.
2.
From the Send the following e-mail alert when the job list, select fails or succeeds.

In the To field, enter the email addresses that you want to be notified when a Job is completed or when it fails.
Separate multiple email addresses with a semicolon (

In the Subject box, enter text to describe the purpose of the email. You can select
list so that the value of the variable for this Job is inserted when the email is sent.
5.
In the Message box, enter the text of the message. You can select
value of the variable for this Job is inserted when the email is sent.
6.
Click Save.

Name of Job.
The last Job Step that was completed for this Job. If a Job's status is Running,
this is the Job Step that is currently being executed. If a Job's status is
Complete, this is the last Job Step of the Job. If a Job Failed, this is the Job Step
that was running when the failure occurred.
Time job was completed.
Person who submitted the Job.
