Recovery eye, rear
The recovery eye with the fastening screws is in
the left storage compartment of the engine
compartment in the tool kit.
Caution!
Risk of damage to the vehicle.
f Use the recovery eye only for an emergency to
extricate the vehicle. Under no circumstances
is the vehicle to be secured using the recovery
eye.
f Never use the recovery eye to tow any other
vehicle.
f The recovery eye must be attached to the un-
derside panel on the unit carrier (figure) using
the screws provided.
Tightening torque
Tightening torque of the screws: 33 Nm (24 ftlb)
