Fuses
In order to prevent damage to the electrical
system due to short circuits and overloads, the
individual circuits are protected by fuses.
One fuse box is located in the driver's footwell
under the dashboard and one additional fuse box
is located in the engine compartment over the
right rear wheel.
The fuse plan and instructions A for emergency
unlocking of the engine compartment lid can be
found on the cover of the fuse box in the driver's
footwell.
A plastic gripper and spare fuses are in the upper
section of the fuse box in the driver's footwell.
Important note
f If a fuse blows repeatedly, please immediately
consult an authorized Porsche dealer, so that
the short circuit can be located and corrected.
f Never try to "repair" fuses: you may cause se-
rious damage to other parts of the electrical
system.
