Connecting the trickle charger
Warning!
Risk of short circuit and risk of damage to
vehicle components and trickle charger if
the cables for the trickle charger are routed
incorrectly. The cables can be pinched.
f Route the cabels from the vehicle only at the
prescribed locations.
f The ground isolating plug must be plugged in.
f Please observe the separate operating instruc-
tions from the trickle charger manufacturer.

Practical Tips, Emergency Service
1. Close any open windows and lids.
2. Switch ignition off.
3. Open the glove compartment.
4. Press the socket in the glove compartment.
The socket folds down.
5. Plug the trickle charger into the socket.
6. Route the cable above the glove compartment
cover (arrow).
7. Route the cable from the glove compartment
at the position shown (arrow).
8. Close the glove compartment.
