Unlocking the engine compartment lid
f Operate the pull-button B next to the driver's
seat.
f Please observe the chapter "LOAD SWITCH-
OFF AFTER TWO HOURS OR FIVE DAYS" on
Page 156.
Note
If the vehicle battery is discharged, the engine
compartment lid can be opened only by
connecting an external electrical power source.
f Please observe the chapter "EMERGENCY UN-
LOCKING OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT
LID" on Page 160.
Opening the engine compartment lid
The engine compartment lid is opened automati-
cally by pneumatic springs when released.
Closing the engine compartment lid
Warning!
Risk of pinching between the rear wing and
engine compartment lid when closing the lid.
f When closing, put your hand on the lid (arrow)
and press the lid until it engages.
f Lower the lid and press it down.
f Check that the lid has correctly engaged in the
lock.
Warning light
The warning light in the instrument panel comes
on if the lids are not completely closed.
f Fully close the lid.
