Connecting to the Internet Through a DSL/Cable
Modem
To connect your SMC to the Internet via a DSL/Cable Modem:
1� Connect one end of a LAN cable to the Ethernet
port on the SMC's rear panel�
2� Connect the other end of the cable to the
Ethernet input of your DSL/cable modem�
Note: Make sure that the DSL/cable modem

has an outside Internet connection, and
that it's power and connection LED is on�
