When you have a message waiting, the handset will display:
MESSAGE WAITING
5/01 5:40PM

Clear Message Waiting Alert

If after you review your message(s) your message waiting alert does not go off, you may manually
turn it off by:
 . Press PROG on the handset .
until screen displays MESSAGE WAITING .
2 . Press or
3 . Press SELECT, the screen display: CLEAR? YES
4 . Press or to change from YES to NO .
5 . Press SELECT, you'll hear a confirmation tone.
